Data Entry Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a high-volume data processing team in Saint Paul, MN.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with large amounts of information, maintaining accuracy, following established procedures, and ensuring records are processed efficiently. This is a production-focused position requiring speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.

No phones! The majority of your day will be spent entering, reviewing, validating, and processing information.

Responsibilities

• Enter large volumes of data into multiple systems with speed and accuracy
• Review and validate records to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and processing exceptions
• Research and resolve data inconsistencies using established procedures
• Maintain accurate electronic records and supporting documentation
• Audit information for errors and compliance purposes
• Reconcile information between reports and internal systems
• Meet daily productivity and quality standards
• Follow established workflows and processing procedures
• Assist with special projects and administrative support tasks as needed

Qualifications

Required

• 1+ year of experience in data entry, document review, transaction processing, claims processing, billing, accounts payable/receivable, banking operations, administrative support, or financial operations
• Ability to maintain a typing speed of 10,000+ KPH (Keystrokes Per Hour) with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience working in high-volume processing environments
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues through research
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and follow detailed processes

Preferred

• Invoice processing experience
• Reconciliation experience
• Auditing or quality assurance experience
• Experience working within ERP or financial systems
• Previous production-based data entry experience

Compensation & Schedule

• $20-$21 per hour
• Full-Time
• Temporary Assignment
• Monday-Friday
• 100% Onsite in Saint Paul, MN / Mendota Heights, MN
